Geekvape S Series Replacement Coils

The Geekvape S Series Replacement Coils are designed for use with the Geekvape Obelisk C tank. Supplied in a pack of 5, they come in 0.15 Ohms and 0.25 Ohms, both built for direct-to-lung (DTL) vaping on a KA1 mesh coil. It is the Obelisk C rather than the original Obelisk tank.

The 0.15 Ohms is a single mesh build and the higher-powered of the two, rated at 80-90W for dense vapour. The 0.25 Ohms is a dual mesh coil rated at 45-55W, for a cooler, everyday vape. The dual mesh is the lower-powered of the two, around 35W below the 0.15 Ohms. Both are sub-ohm DTL builds, and both work best with a high VG e-liquid at a low nicotine strength.

Priming a New Coil

A coil change starts with emptying the tank. The coil is at the bottom of it, so unscrew the base, remove the old coil and fit a new one in. Fill the tank once the new one is in, then allow the coil a few minutes to soak before your first puff, which helps prevent dry hits. After a while in the tank a coil reaches the end of its life, and a burnt taste then means it is time to replace it.

What happens if I use the wrong wattage?

Each coil has its own wattage range, so the setting that suits one will not suit the other. Below its range you get less vapour and the flavour drops, and above it the coil will not last as long. Check which coil is in the tank before you set the power, and if your mod sets the wattage for you, compare that figure against the two ranges above.
