The Geekvape B Series coils are the push-fit replacement coils for the Aegis Boost family, the Aegis Hero family and every generation of the Z Nano tank. Supplied in a pack of 5 with a kanthal (KA1) build. The range covers the full B Series line, seven resistances from 0.15 Ohms to 1.2 Ohms. That takes you from a tight mouth-to-lung (MTL) draw at the 1.2 Ohms end up to full direct-to-lung (DTL) clouds at 0.15 Ohms.
The line splits into two builds. The 0.15 to 0.6 Ohms coils are the B Coil Boost Versions, the upgraded mesh builds, while the 0.8 and 1.2 Ohms pair are the B MTL Coils, the original construction kept in the range for mouth-to-lung vaping. The Boost Versions last around twice as long as the original B coils, and the two generations share the same interface, so they are fully interchangeable in any B Series device.
Match the Resistance to Your Draw
Available in the following resistances, from full sub-ohm DTL down to the tightest MTL:

| 1.2 Ohms B MTL |

The 0.15 Ohms coil is for vapers after maximum vapour, and it needs a mod that can deliver the wattage, an Aegis Mini 5 or a 510 mod, not a 40-50W Boost or Hero pod kit.
Uniform Temperature Mesh
The Boost Version coils, the 0.15 to 0.6 Ohms builds, use a mesh design that heats e-liquid evenly. The result is a faster ramp-up, denser vapour and fuller flavour. The 0.8 and 1.2 Ohms B MTL coils keep the original construction for a warmer, tighter draw.
High-Speed Cotton Wicking
Reliable wicking keeps flavour consistent from the first puff to the last, and helps prevent dry hits.
Extended Coil Lifespan
A Boost Version coil is good for around 50-60ml of e-liquid, while the B MTL builds last around 20-30ml. Replace the coil when the flavour starts to fade or you get a burnt taste. Chain vaping, firing a coil above its rated wattage and skipping the priming step all reduce its lifespan, so prime it properly and keep it inside the range above.
Push In and Prime
Fitting a B Series coil uses the simple push-fit system - take the old coil out and push the new one firmly into place. Fill the pod or tank, then leave it to stand for three to five minutes so the coil can fully saturate before first use.

Please note: the Aegis Boost Pro and Boost Pro 2 use Geekvape's P Series coils, not the B Series, and so does the Obelisk 60 (it's the Obelisk 65 that uses the B). The Zeus sub-ohm tanks use Z Series coils, and the Wenax M family uses its own pods.
Recommended To Use With
- High-VG e-liquids on the 0.15, 0.2 and 0.3 Ohms coils for sub-ohm DTL vaping
- 50/50 e-liquids on the 0.4, 0.6 and 0.8 Ohms coils
- Nic salt e-liquids on the 0.6, 0.8 and 1.2 Ohms coils
- MTL, RDL and DTL draws, depending on the resistance you fit
Nic salt at 20mg suits the tight draw of the B MTL pair, 10mg works well on the 0.6 Ohms, and the sub-ohm Boost Versions are best for low-strength high-VG e-liquid.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do B Series coils fit the Aegis Boost Pro? No. Both the Boost Pro and Boost Pro 2 are on Geekvape's P Series platform. The Aegis Boost 2 is different - it's badged B60 and does use B Series coils.
What's the difference between the Boost Version and the original B coils? Mainly lifespan - the newer Boost builds have about double the coil life of the originals, with fit unchanged. If your pack still says Aegis Boost coils, it's the same B Series range in the older packaging.
