Uwell Crown 4 Replacement Coils

The Uwell Crown 4 Replacement Coils are best paired with a high VG e-liquid, and all three are direct-to-lung (DTL) coils. Available in 0.2, 0.23 and 0.4 Ohms, supplied in a pack of 4, with wattage ranges up to 80W.

The 0.2 and the 0.4 Ohms are dual coils in SS904L stainless steel, and the 0.23 Ohms a UN2 single mesh coil in FeCrAl. Every one of them is made for the Uwell Crown 4 sub-ohm tank.

Crown 4 Coil Options

The Crown 4 kit is supplied with the same Uwell Crown 4 Sub Ohm Tank, and these coils fit the kit as well. The kit's maximum output is 200W, so you can set any of the three to the wattage range it is rated for.

The 0.4 and the 0.23 Ohms have the same wattage range, 60-70W. Choose between those two on the build: one is a dual coil, the other a single mesh coil with the larger surface area. Uwell also builds a UN1 single mesh coil in SS304 at 0.25 Ohms for the Crown 4 tank, rated for 55-65W.

Please note: there is a 0.23 Ohms coil for the Uwell Crown 5 as well. That one is designed for use with the Crown 5 tank, its wattage range is 65-70W, and it is not compatible with the Crown 4, so check your tank is a Crown 4 and not a Crown 5.

The Double Helix Coil

Uwell's Double Helix coils are designed for even heating. The steel Uwell uses is the higher quality steel found in luxury watches, delivering both flavour and a longer coil life.

Self-Cleaning Technology

Every Crown 4 coil is fitted with Uwell's Self-Cleaning Technology. As you vape, the coil can vaporise the e-liquid in its condensation holder, which helps reduce leaks and waste and keeps tank cleaning to a minimum.

Why does a new Crown 4 coil taste burnt?

On a new coil, a burnt taste normally means it has not been primed. When you first fill the tank, let the coil soak for a few minutes before your first draw, which helps you avoid dry hits. If the burnt taste is still there, check the wattage is inside the coil's own range in the table above, and that your e-liquid is a high VG blend. That is what all three of these coils are made for.

Which coil does the Crown 4 tank come with?

The tank comes with the 0.4 Ohms fitted and a spare 0.2 Ohms in the box, which means both of them are dual coils in SS904L. Neither mesh coil ships with it. If the power is where you want it and the build is what you want to change, the 0.23 UN2 is rated for the same wattage range as the 0.4 you already have.
