The Uwell Caliburn G & G2 Replacement Coils are Uwell's Caliburn G Coil and Caliburn G2 Coil, supplied in a pack of 4. The Caliburn G Coil is the 0.8 Ohms and the 1.0 Ohms; the Caliburn G2 Coil is the 1.2 Ohms. The 0.8 and 1.2 are UN2 Meshed-H mesh coils, the 1.0 is a standard coil, and all three are push-fit.
These coils fit thirteen kits across the Caliburn range, from the G and G2 through the GK2, X, Tenet, GZ2, KOKO Prime, the Caliburn & IronFist L and the Explorer. Please note: many Caliburn kits use pods with the coil built into the pod, so they are not compatible with these coils, the G3 and GK3 included.
0.8, 1.0 and 1.2 Ohms
Three to choose from:
- 0.8 Ohms UN2 Meshed-H - the mesh coil with a looser draw, suited to smoother mouth-to-lung (MTL) and restricted direct-to-lung (RDTL) styles depending on the kit
- 1.0 Ohms - the standard coil, for a tighter MTL draw with rich flavour
- 1.2 Ohms UN2 Meshed-H - the Caliburn G2 coil, mesh on a tight, cigarette-like MTL draw
All three work best with 50/50 blends, high PG e-liquid and nic salts. High-VG e-liquid is too thick for a pod coil this small.
Long-Lasting UN2 Meshed-H
Uwell rates the UN2 Meshed-H as long-lasting, and it is the mesh on the 0.8 and 1.2 Ohms. It is designed to heat the e-liquid evenly, which prolongs the coil's lifespan.
Pro-FOCS Flavour Technology
The Caliburn G coils for the KOKO Prime feature Pro-FOCS, Uwell's patented flavour adjustment technology, designed to bring out the taste of the e-liquid in the pod.
Flip the Pod
On the Caliburn G and the KOKO Prime, the pod fits in two ways. Turning it 180 degrees and inserting it back into the device will switch the same coil between a restricted direct-to-lung draw and a mouth-to-lung one.
Fitting a New Coil
These are push-fit coils. Remove the old coil, then align the new one with the locating slot on the pod, as Uwell recommends. Fill the pod and leave it a few minutes so the coil can saturate. Priming before you vape helps prevent dry hits and gives you the best flavour.

What makes a Caliburn G coil last longer?
Coil life varies with how you vape. Thicker high-VG e-liquid can affect wicking and shorten coil life, and a coil will burn out faster at higher power. Priming a new coil properly will help it last longer. A drop-off in flavour or a burnt taste means it is time for a new coil.
Is the 1.2 Ohms the Caliburn G2 coil?
Yes. The 1.2 Ohms is the Caliburn G2 Coil, while the 0.8 and 1.0 Ohms are the Caliburn G Coil. Check your device before selecting a resistance, since not every Caliburn kit is compatible with all three.
