The SMOK TFV8 Baby Replacement Coils are named for the build inside each head: the Q2 and M2 are dual coils, the X4 is a quad coil, and the T6, T8 and T12 carry six, eight and twelve coils. The Mesh and the Strip use a single element instead. There are ten to choose from, and each pack of 5 is five of the same coil.
Every one is sub-ohm, from 0.15 Ohms up to 0.6 Ohms. Most are for direct to lung (DTL) vaping, with the 0.25 Ohms M2 and the 0.6 Ohms Q2 for a restricted direct lung (RDL) draw. Each is fitted with an organic cotton wick, and high VG e-liquid suits the range.

Baby, Big Baby and Baby Prince
These are designed for use with three tanks in SMOK's Baby line: the TFV8 Baby (the Baby Beast), the TFV8 Big Baby and the TFV12 Baby Prince. The TFV12 Baby Prince uses these coils despite the Prince in its name. If you own more than one of the three, the same coil fits all of them. SMOK's TFV9 and TFV9 Mini tanks are also compatible with these coils.
The TFV8 X-Baby is a separate tank with its own TFV8 X-Baby coils. The TFV8 Baby V2 and the TFV-Mini V2 are made for the TFV8 V2 coils. And the TFV12 Prince, the one without Baby in its name, uses the TFV12 Prince coils. These coils are also not compatible with the TFV8 Cloud Beast, which uses the V8-T8, V8-T6, V8-Q4 and V8-X4 instead.
Does the Mesh coil last longer than the T8 or the T12?
Not because it is a mesh build. The Mesh covers 40-80W, while the T8 reaches 110W and the T12 90W, so the Mesh is set lower than both of them, and wattage is the part you control. Fit whichever suits the power you vape at, and keep it inside the range for that build.
Will these fit my TFV8 X-Baby?
No. These are not compatible with the TFV8 X-Baby, and an X-Baby coil is not compatible with a TFV8 Baby tank either. The X-Baby's own coils are also a T6, Q2, M2 and X4, so check the tank in your hand as well as the coil.
