SMOK TFV16 Lite Replacement Coils

The SMOK TFV16 Lite Replacement Coils come in two mesh builds, and two is the whole range: a 0.15 Ohms Dual Mesh and a 0.2 Ohms Conical Mesh. They fit the SMOK TFV16 Lite tank only, and are supplied in a pack of 3.

Each is a sub-ohm mesh coil built for direct-to-lung (DTL) vaping, recommended for use with a high VG e-liquid of 70% or above. Expect dense vapour and plenty of flavour.

Both Start at 60W

The 0.15 Ohms Dual Mesh is best vaped at wattages between 60 - 90W, and the 0.2 Ohms Conical Mesh between 60 - 85W. Either suits the same high VG e-liquid, so the difference between them is the resistance and 5W at the top of the range.

The Lite Tank Only

These coils are compatible with the Lite version of the TFV16 tank only. The standard TFV16 coils do not fit the Lite, and these do not fit the standard tank. SMOK made a 0.2 Ohms Conical Mesh for each of the two tanks, so the resistance on its own does not tell you which tank a coil is for.

Why does a new coil taste burnt on the first fill?

That is usually priming. Fill the tank and let it sit for 5 minutes before vaping a new coil, which gives the coil time to soak. Vaping it before it has soaked is what gives you the burnt taste, and a coil primed properly will last longer.
