Overview

Each SMOK Nord Replacement Coil is supplied in a pack of 5, with six coils to choose from. Both the 0.6 and 0.8 Ohms are available in either a mesh or a dual coil, and the 1.4 Ohms in either a regular or a ceramic coil.

The two 0.6 Ohm coils are for sub-ohm, direct-to-lung (DTL) vaping: the mesh at up to 25W, the regular dual coil at a recommended 20W. The 0.8 and 1.4 Ohm coils are for mouth-to-lung (MTL) vaping instead, at up to 16W and up to 12W.

We advise using the two 0.6 Ohm coils with high VG e-liquids, at 70VG/30PG and higher. The 0.8 Ohm coils are best suited to a 50/50 freebase, and the 1.4 Ohms to a 50/50 freebase or a nic salt e-liquid.

Please note: the RPM40, Nord 2, Fetch Mini, Alike and Nord 50W are compatible with an RPM pod as well as a Nord pod, and an RPM pod uses SMOK RPM coils instead. The Nord 50W is supplied with a Nord pod and an LP2 pod, and its LP2 pod uses SMOK's LP2 coils. Some Nord kits are built for other coil ranges: the Nord C, Nord X, Nord 4, Nord 5, Nord 6 and Nord GT are not compatible with these coils.

Can I use a Nord Pro coil in a Nord pod?

No. Nord Pro coils are for Nord Pro pods only and are not compatible with a Nord pod. The Nord Pro pod is compatible with both Nord and Nord Pro coils, so these coils are suitable for a Nord Pro as well.

Should I choose the 1.4 Ohm Regular or the Ceramic?

Both are 1.4 Ohms and both are rated at up to 12W for mouth-to-lung vaping with the same e-liquids. The ceramic coil is designed for continuous mouth-to-lung vaping and is built for better flavour and longer coil life. Choose the ceramic for all-day vaping, or the 1.4 Ohm Regular for a throat hit similar to smoking.
