Aspire AVP Pro Replacement Coils

The Aspire AVP Pro Replacement Coils are available in either a 0.65 Ohms Mesh coil or a 1.15 Ohms Standard coil, supplied in a pack of 5. Both are compatible with the AVP Pro, AVP-CUBE, Tekno, 9th tank and Zero.G. The Tekno comes with two pods, and these coils are designed for use with its AVP pod.

The coil sits inside the AVP Pro pod cartridge, so when performance drops off you replace the coil rather than the whole pod. Both the 1.15 Ohms Standard and the 0.65 Ohms Mesh are KA1 coils.

Which Coil to Choose

• 0.65 Ohms Mesh - best vaped at wattages between 15 - 18W, with more vapour and a warmer vape, for a looser mouth-to-lung (MTL) draw through to restricted direct-to-lung (RDL) vaping. Ideal for 50/50 freebase e-liquid, and suitable for nic salts.
• 1.15 Ohms Standard - best vaped at wattages between 10 - 16W for MTL vaping, ideal for use with nic salts or 50/50 e-liquid.

With either coil in place, the AVP Pro's adjustable airflow slider lets you tailor the draw to your liking: close it down for a tighter MTL draw or open it up for an airier one. Fit the 1.15 Ohms Standard and you can switch between the AVP Pro's four selectable power modes, 10W, 12W, 14W and 16W. Please note: the wattage is adjustable with coil resistances of 1.0 Ohms or higher, so both the AVP Pro and the AVP-CUBE automatically set the output mode to bypass for the 0.65 Ohms Mesh. The Tekno supports 1 - 30W and the Zero.G 5 - 40W in increments of 1W, so with both you can set 15 - 18W for the 0.65 Ohms Mesh yourself.

Devices They Do Not Fit

These coils are not compatible with the Aspire AVP AIO, the original AVP, which has built-in coil pods, so you replace the whole pod instead.

Do I need to prime a new coil?

Yes. Fill the pod, then wait for 5 minutes to allow the e-liquid to soak into the coil before your first puff. This helps prevent dry hits.

How long do these coils last?

With regular use, a coil typically lasts one to two weeks, depending on how often you vape. Thicker high-VG e-liquid in the 1.15 Ohms can affect wicking and shorten coil life.
